Structure
Delhi has eleven districts and there are 11 Land Acquisition Collectors i.e. one per district. The LACs are as following :-
- LAC North
- LAC Central
- LAC New Delhi
- LAC East
- LAC West
- LAC South
- LAC North-East
- LAC North-West
- LAC South-West
- LAC South-East
- LAC Outer-North
- LAC Old Delhi
- LAC Central North
The major work of LACs are:
- Acquisition of Land
- Possession of Land
- Handing over the possession of land to the Land & Building department
- Announcement of Award
- Payment of compensation
